Melton Team Parish Churches are of part of the Church of England and within the, Deanery and Diocese of Leicester.
We are people of all ages, praying for and serving the communities around us. Worship is at the centre of what we do. We have regular services of Holy Communion within our churches during the month; please see the Calendar for details. Children are welcome at all our services but we also have services particularly designed to involve children and families, including Worship at Ten once a month in Melton, and the short time of worship at the end of Saturday Morning at St Mary’s). There are toilet facilities and play areas at St Mary’s Melton, St Mary the Virgin Thorpe Arnold and St James’ Burton Lazars.
Our Pioneer Minister led services of Connect services in Burton Lazars are less formal, with prayer, reflection, music and discussion. Gathering and Travelling is also a Pioneer Minister led opportunity to meet in different informal settings, often outdoors when weather permits. See the Calendar for details.
Our historic medieval churches whether in town or village settings are beautiful (please see the LINK for each church information). You are very welcome to attend any of the services across our Team Parish Churches and we look forward to meeting you.
